The Pet Practitioners Association of Karnataka (PPAK) successfully hosted a two-day workshop on Echocardiography in Dogs on the 6th and 7th of February 2025. The workshop was led by the highly respected veterinary cardiologist, Dr. Ravinder Mahan, who shared his deep expertise on the use of echocardiography in diagnosing heart conditions in dogs. With a blend of theory and live demonstrations, the sessions covered cardiac anatomy, image interpretation, and hands-on scanning techniques. Participants gained valuable practical experience and advanced their understanding of canine cardiac care. Dr. Ravinder Mahan, a renowned veterinary cardiologist and expert in pet echocardiography, recently delivered an insightful seminar on advanced cardiac imaging for animals. Having studied at the prestigious Institute of Veterinary Imaging, Greater Mohali, Punjab, Dr. Mahan specializes in diagnostic ultrasound, canine and feline cardiology, and non-invasive heart diagnostics for pets. The seminar highlighted the latest techniques in veterinary echocardiography, including Doppler imaging, M-mode scans, and real-time heart function analysis in dogs and cats.
